Our team

Nigel

Nigel

Having started in the basement of the family home in COT Road at the age of 16 and taking over the running of the company at 19, COT has been my only job and a labor of love. As I think back on our 40 year journey and all of our accomplishments, nothing is dearer to me than the loyalty and dedication that our staff demonstrates on a daily basis to meet our clients' needs. It is our culture, the secret ingredient that sets us apart from our competition. On the personal side, an incredible wife, 3 wonderful children, great friends and my little dog Ziggy, keep me grounded and energized to do what I do at work. When not working I can be found on the tennis court, at the beach, cooking and entertaining friends and family or in a hammock at our little beach house on the East Coast, unless of course I am not traveling to some exotic part of the world with my bride.

Our Story

Then

Dennis Everard Worme founded COT Printery in 1975 in the basement of his home in COT Road, Christ Church, Barbados. With a handful of employees and a Heidelberg 10 x 15 Windmill Letterpress Machine single color printing of basic business forms was the original scope of work.

In 1979, COT Printery outgrew the basement and moved to a small 6,000sq’ print shop a few miles from COT Road.

Now

In 1990, after needing more space, the company moved to its current facility in Newton Industrial Estate where we house our state-of-the-art equipment in a 32,000 sq' building, now known as COT. This has allowed for all the processes and solutions offered by COT to grow and operate under one roof, providing the strength and convenience of a "one stop shop" for customers.
